I want a life.” - I was struck that she equated "not hovering" to not being a good mother, "kind of lazy" and "want[ing] a life". When I posted that with this pullquote:

These diets are all the rage. My mom and sister both converted from the last few years of lactose-free diets to gluten-free diets. I think the whole thing is a fad and it drives me nuts. That said, I've dealt with the cassien-free diet for infant reflux and I feel your pain! We learned a lot of Japanese cooking those years. Ugh! These diets are all the rage.
