Sitting here next to Amy, listening and transcribing whatever she says:
Eye.
Goopy eye. (She still has trouble with her tear duct.)
I want shoes off, too.
I want shoes off, please?
I got scrape too. On there.
Fall down.
Yeah.
Tea time?
Tea time.
Daddy?
Daddy?
Where’s Dad gone?
I’ll hop down.
It’s better.
I want milk.
Tea time?
That’s mine.
My cup!
Dump truck.
Dumping?
Dumping, dumping.
Car!
I got this. (”What?”)
I got this, my locker. (”You got that from your locker?”)
Yeah.
Car jump off, jump off.
Look at me.
Hop on.
Jump off. (The toy car is jumping off the dump truck.)
My foot.
I want my shoes on.
I want my shoes on!
One, yeah.
I can’t do it.
Did it.
I can’t do this.
I did it. (Moving on to something else.)
Come on.
Come on, come on.
I can’t do it.
Open it. (An empty package.)
Tea’s ready!
Ready.
It’s ready now.
It’s ready!
I want to hop in. (Onto the couch.)
I’ll stand up. (”What do you see?”)
Um. Hi Margaret! (Our neighbour.)
Hello Margaret.
Hi Margaret!
Margaret’s there!
Um, Margaret, tea time Mummy!
Tea time Mum.
Tea time!
